I have most information for my 2018 tax but need to obtain figures for my bank interests on a savings and a small savings bond.

You don’t need to file Form 4868 if you make a payment using the IRS
electronic payment options.
You can pay all or part of your estimated income tax due and **indicate that the payment is for an extension** using Direct Pay, the Electronic Federal Tax Payment System, or using a credit or debit card. Your extension is then automatically granted and you will receive a confirmation number for your records.

Do you really mean 2018? If you do, you are over a year too late to get an extension for 2018. The filing deadline for people with 2018 extensions was October 15, 2019.

you can't extend a 2018 return. it's normal due date would have been 4/15/2019
