We both did standard deduction and TurboTax is saying we will actually save just under $500 of what we owe buy filing married but separately (I was shocked by this!). We don't qualify for any of usual credits - we're not homeowners, we have no kids, we're not in college, and we make nearly the same amount of income.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;yes you need two a/c's but they can have the same e-mail address.&amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp;without any itemized deductions I doubt that you'll save any money doing two married filing separate returns vs one joint return.&amp;nbsp; by the way should one itemize both must itemize.&amp;nbsp; you really won't know if you save by MFS unless you also do a joint return.&amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
