This is common as you add additional income. Our income tax rates increase as your income does. Also, if you enter income that doesn't have corresponding withholding this will also happen.

Why does the refund amount continue to decrease? I don't have access to 2018 returns can I help?

What are you entering? What section are you on that you need your 2018 tax return? You will need it when you go to file as you need last years AGI to e-file.

You can access your prior year returns from the Documents tab in the left menu. When you sign in, make sure you're using the same TurboTax account (with the same username) as in prior years.

Select Documents from the left menu.
Use the drop-down at the top of the screen to choose the tax year you want and then select Download PDF.
