I'm trying to complete my taxes but it tells me waiting on updates for reporting Misc 1099R. The will I be able to complete my taxes?

There is no such thing as a "misc 1099R" form.

There is a 1099-R form for retirement distributions.

And a 1099-MISC form for self-employed or other types of income.

Are you using the online or CD/download version installed on your computer?

Exactly what does it say?
