      <description>&lt;P&gt;&lt;B&gt;No&lt;/B&gt;.&amp;nbsp;A parent isn't required to&amp;nbsp;enter any of a&amp;nbsp;child's information, unless he or she is claiming the child. The IRS never allows two unmarried parents, who lived together all year, to&amp;nbsp;claim benefits for the same child. As much, two parents are never allowed to both receive earned income credit. &lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;The father would&lt;B&gt; only&amp;nbsp;&lt;/B&gt;include the child,&amp;nbsp;if he was the &lt;B&gt;custodial parent&lt;/B&gt; and gave you permission to claim the child. Then, the two of you would have needed to be&amp;nbsp;&lt;B&gt;divorced, separated, or living apart &lt;/B&gt;the last six months of the year.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
