    <description>&lt;P&gt;Our daughter graduated college in May 2019. Can we claim here as a dependent. She lived in our house&amp;nbsp; after graduation and we provided more than half of her support.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;If we can not claim her what question on her return states that she can not be claimed on another return?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Thanks&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;If she was under age 24 and a full time student who did not provide more than half of her support you can claim her.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;On the surface, you can probably claim her, if she was under 24 and attended school for at least 5 months. But the requirements are complex, so see the requirements for Dependent starting on page 25 in &lt;A href="https://www.irs.gov/pub/irs-pdf/p17.pdf" target="_blank"&gt;IRS Pub 17&lt;/A&gt;.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;

&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;

&lt;P&gt;There is a question in the My Info or Personal Info section in which you are asked if you can be claimed as a dependent (not necessarily are, just can be).&lt;/P&gt;</description>
