      <description>&lt;P&gt;If you claim her, she loses her daughter as a dependent. And you can't claim the daughter because she is her qualifying child.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;So you may accomplish nothing. But it depends on who gets the most benefit from one dependent.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
