I'll never file with Turbotax again, especially after they just repeat "check our FAQ" and "contact us" - but won't address the fact there is an actual issue they cant resolve.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Like I said, I will never use Turbotax again.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I just wish Turbotax would solve their issues with software for the public.Let me recap it:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;OL&gt;&lt;LI&gt;Turbotax worked fine, Loaded up and inputted data&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;Update (which you cant deny to use on Windows)&amp;nbsp;&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;Asking for Activation Code --- doesn't accept&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;Go onto support, find a bunch of useless FAQ/Contact us&amp;nbsp;&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;Contact Turbotax Support -- No resolution&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;Contact Turbotax Support -- Told to "just refund through amazon and buy it through us" (hassle + more expensive) -- No Resolution&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;Crawl through forums wasting my time trying to find solutions&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;Spend hours doing "fixes" that are useless.&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;Contact Turbotax Support - No Resolution&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;Contact Turbotax Support - Offered No Resolution for Windows but offered a MAC license (which I don't want to do, but no choice).&amp;nbsp;&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;Never use Turbotax Again, Tell everyone of my experience. I felt completely vulnerable-- I don't want to have issues with such an important thing. Maybe one day you guys will figure out a solution to this issue, but how can I rely on you now? I can't. Weeks later I tried to finish taxes -- after it auto-upgraded. and got this error.&amp;nbsp; I called and got another code and download, everything fine.&amp;nbsp; Then tried again a week later, it auto-upgraded and got same problem, can't get past activation screen. Tried uninstalling/reinstalling. Finally tried on different windows 10 machine (that didn't have turbo tax installed already) and it worked.&amp;nbsp; Seems that install only works once on fresh machine, but auto-upgrade messes it up.&amp;nbsp; Will hurry up and do taxes now before it happens again!!!!&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;There was an error with validating your license code, please try again.       <description>&lt;P&gt;I'm having the same problem as everyone else.&amp;nbsp; I bought TT direct from Intuit via download back in February.&amp;nbsp; Used for several weeks.&amp;nbsp; Came back today and re-opened it - it had a number of updates to install which is understandable but after launching the freshly updated version, I got stuck at the activation screen.&amp;nbsp; Talked to Tech support twice, got new Activation Code, disabled firewalls, updated Windows, etc.,&amp;nbsp; Finally, I tried installing on my wife's identical laptop and the activation code was accepted.&amp;nbsp; I've compared versions and configurations and can't find any meaningful difference between these two machines.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I've used TT for just about as long as it's been around and this is the first time I've hit a hard wall like this.&amp;nbsp; I'm assuming that Tech Support has reported this to engineering and they are working on a fix.&amp;nbsp; Would sure be nice if someone from TT would just tell us that (assuming its true).&amp;nbsp; If its not true, TT has a big problem that they are not addressing.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I'm completely stuck and out of ideas.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;If you receive an error code that says, "The license code you entered is not valid. Error code: XXX", it means the code you're entering is either not valid for that product or is no longer active. Check that you're entering the code exactly as it appears on your CD insert or copy and paste it directly from your Downloads.&lt;/P&gt;

&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;

&lt;P&gt;If you receive a error code with a message saying, “All available activations for that code have been used,” that means your code has already been used the maximum number of times, and therefore can’t be used to install the software on another computer.&amp;nbsp;TurboTax can be installed on up to five computers using the same license code.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;

&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;

&lt;P&gt;If you receive either one of these errors,&amp;nbsp;wait a few minutes and re-enter your license code:&lt;/P&gt;
