Overview of the American Opportunity Credit for 2019" from IRS Publication 970 at this link&lt;/A&gt;&lt;SPAN style="color:#2d3338"&gt;.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;

      <description>&lt;P&gt;No, sorry should have mentioned, she qualified for all 3 (AOC, LLC &amp;amp; TFD).&amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp;My question is specifically is why would she not qualify for the refundable portion, I look at her taxes from last year that someone else did and it looks like she did get a 1000 dollar refund of it. The only thing I saw, and not in TT but the online govt forms, is something about being 24 at the end of the year.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
