You can remove the dependent as long as you have not yet filed your tax return please follow the steps below to delete the dependent in TurboTax Online:

Sign into your Online account.

Click "Take me to my return".

Select Personal Info at the top of the page.

Under the Personal Info Sumary scroll down to Dependents

Select Delete next to the dependent that you wish to delete.

If you have already filed your tax return you need to first wait and see if your return is accepted or rejected. If rejected, you can go back and delete the dependent, then re-submit your return.
