CD says 2018 version

TT,

I recently purchased the basic version of TT in a local retailer and when I loaded the CD it comes up as 2018 TT. My license key is [product key removed]. Will the CD load the 2019 items for last years taxes?

If it came with a License Code that should be the 2019 CD. The License Code is new for 2019. Did you install the CD? Hen you start a return it will ask for your 2018 return to transfer. That sometimes confuses people.

If you have a License Code it should let you download the program instead of using the CD. Use this link to setup an account to download it

I have the license code but didn't find a place to enter it. I did see the message about transferring it but I was afraid that would overwrite the 2018 tax file I have on my computer. So you're saying when I get that message to say yes? Thanks

Yes it's ok to transfer 2018 return into 2019. But you need to enter the License Code to activate the 2019 program. So it concerns me you didn't enter it anywhere yet.
