&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;No. You cannot claim him as a dependent. You have the choice between Married filing jointly and Married filing separately. Most married people
benefit &lt;B&gt;filing Jointly &lt;/B&gt;since the tax rate
is lower. &lt;B&gt;It does not matter if one spouse did not have income.&lt;/B&gt; In order to file Jointly you need to choose which account you would
like to work in if you both have TurboTax accounts. The program
will then ask if you would like to file with your spouse. Select Yes. You will then be able to input any
information that your spouse has. See more information below: &lt;/P&gt;
