Can i change how i receive my refund? I chose a debit card, but realized i want it as a check. Is it possible to change it?

I didn't want to set up another checking account, which did happen with Green Dot. Can switch over to receiving my refund as a check instead?

As long as you haven't filed yet (or you e-filed, but got rejected), you can change your refund method.

Open your return in TurboTax.
Go to the File section in the left menu.
Next to Step 2: Your refund info select Revisit.
Choose your desired refund method and select Continue.

Unfortunately, once your e-filed return has been accepted or you already mailed it, it's too late to change your refund.

There's one exception: if you chose to apply this year's refund to next year's taxes, you can request a check refund instead.

Thanks!! Yeah, my federal return was just accepted by the IRS! So i can't change from receiving my refund on a prepaid debit card to as a check. Oh well. It's alright. At least I'm getting a refund! Not everyone gets one! So, thank you very much for responding to my question on here! Appreciate it!! Have a good day!
