Conflict Between 2 Installed 2019 Turbotax Programs

Bought a 2019 Version of Turbotax for iMac from Costco. In error, bought the version which did not include the state return. Since Intuit wanted to charge me $44 for the state return, I bought another cheaper online version which included the state return. I installed the second version and moved the first version to the trash. When using the second version, Intuit still wants to charge me the $44. Obviously some code which is causing this. Where is the code to erase to stop this?

UNINSTALL both versions ... don't just put them in the trash. Then reboot the computer and then install ONLY the version you want to use.

what do you mean you moved the first version to the trash? you need to completely uninstall it. just moving the program file and desktop icon to the trash bin doesn't uninstall it.
