Follow these steps to delete Federal form 1116:

Open or continue your return in TurboTax.
Down the left side of the screen, click Tax Tools and then Tools.
In the pop-up window Tool Center, choose Delete a form.
Select Delete next to the form/schedule/worksheet in the list and follow the instructions.

If the form comes back back after deleting the form, then there is a question that is initiating the creation of the form.

the directions provided don't work for the Mac version. There is no "Tax Tool" on the left side or anywhere that I can find. There's no "Tools" or "Tool Center".
