How come state e file charges are $24.99 and not $19.99 as stated when I invested into Turbo Tax product?

Earlybird discounts ended March 1--fees increase after that----if you read the fine print on the packaging it tells you the price is subject to change. But---print, sign and mail the state return to avoid that e-file fee.

The early filer prices were in effect from the time the software was released until March 1, when the price returned to the standard price. You can avoid the state e-file charge by printing and mailing the state tax return.
