Yes, you need to create a separate account for your return. If you enter your information into your son's account, your information will overwrite his & you cannot get it back.

If you are referring to the TurboTax online version, the answer is No. You will have to create a separate account for yourself. You can only file one return per account and you have to pay separately for each return plus an additional charge for each state return. To see how to create a separate account, see the post from bluedeb above.

If you are referring to the TurboTax Deluxe desktop version, the answer is Yes, you can file multiple returns up to five without paying an extra charge. (the price includes one free state download)
