That's very helpful to know BEFORE you file. But noone was available when I was about to file, and I want to speak with an expert after the fact, in case I need to amend the return. There is no obvious way to connect with an expert - despite paying for "Max" - after filing.

Does anyone know how to speak with an expert after filing, or did I just throw out $60?

Did you use TurboTax Live to prepare your returns? When you sign into your account, scroll down and click on ''Add a State''. This will open you return back up and put it back in a 'preparing' stage instead of post-filing. Once you have it back open, you should see the Live Help Avatar.

Many thanks. Your instructions got me there. However, I was then required to upgrade my service to speak with an expert. I thought the $60 I paid for Max would get me to the expert. But it seems it provides Defend and Protect only, whereas I thought it provides the expert as well.

I think I was decieved!
