I worked almost months on my first job and then i got another job for rest of year. I have two w2 forms from first job i made 6393dollars for year and second job i made 30431dollars. I also received a 1099R form to file for retirement in IRA for 9859.05. My question is do i have to file the taxes with lesser amount for this year and do i have to file the 1099R? Right now its saying i owe money to irs because of that so i havent filed yet until im sure.

If you have entered all of your income and completed the tax return and it shows you have taxes owed that would be correct. You have taxes owed if the total of all your tax payments is less than the total of your total tax liabilities.

To view your 2019 AGI - Click on Tax Tools on the left side of the screen. Click on Tools. Click on View Tax Summary.

Medical expenses are an itemized deduction.

The total of all your itemized deductions on Schedule A must be greater than the standard deduction for your filing status to have any tax benefit.

Standard deductions for 2019
