If I wanted to efile more than 5 returns, can I purchase another download to be able to efile 5 more?

You are able to prepare more than 5 returns with one downloaded program, but the IRS only allows you to e-file 5 returns. On returns in excess of five returns you can print off the return and mail them instead of e-filing them.

To e-file unlimited returns, you will need professional software and also will need a Preparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN) and an Electronic Filing Identification Number (EFIN) from the IRS. Purchasing additional software will not allow you e-file from your same IP address.

On the IRS website I read that they are not looking at paper filings because of the COVID-19 situation. What are we to do?
