Unemployment income was taxed already, how do I show that?

Hello. I received unemployment last year, and chose to have it taxed at the time so I wouldn't have to pay out of pocket on my taxes. How can I prove this now? It looks like it's bringing my refund way down because of it.

Just below where you enter the state name from the 1099-G...

Just below where you enter the state name from the 1099-G, there's a box to check saying state or federal tax was withheld on this payment. Check that box and you'll see a place to make your entries.

To get back there, type Unemployment in the Find box on the upper right,

hit Enter,

select the Jump to.
