Yes, You can claim your daughter since she is

she is related to you.

she is not claimed as a dependent by someone else.

she is U.S. citizen, resident alien, national, or a Canadian or Mexican resident.

she is not filing a joint return with their spouse.

she is under the age of 19 (or 24 for full-time students).

No age limit for permanently and totally disabled children.

she lived with you for more than half the year (exceptions apply).

she didn't provide more than half of their own support for the year.

As long as you provide over half of her support, yes, you can claim your daughter as a dependent.
After she turns 19, you can continue to claim her through age 24 if she's a full-time student.

That is NOT correct. There is no requirement that a parent pays ANY support at all for a 18 year old (or a full-time student *under* age 24 - not "through" age 24). The requirement is that the *child* does not pay more than half of their *own* support - it does not matter who else pays it. The parent support requirement was changed about 15 years ago.
