Turbo tax will not accept deposit routing number from my Bank (Wells Fargo) website. The number is different from the one on my checks. Account was set up before Crocker Bank was acquired by Wells Fargo.

Last year I used the number from my checks and it worked OK. But why won't Turbo Tax accept the routing number Wells Fargo has on it's web site?

Use the one that worked last year. Even though Crocker Bank was acquired by Wells Fargo a decision was probably made not to fully integrate the computer systems completely.

Turbo won't accept routing number from my Wells Fargo checking. It is the same as last year but keeps saying the account numbers don't match. The routing number is what is on my checks, and the Wells Fargo web site!

Be sure to delete all routing numbers and account numbers completely with extra delete key entries to get rid of any extra spaces. Then re-enter the information.
