I am obviously very confused ... is TurboTax exclusively online now? Is it still possible to purchase and download the software?

.....many of us won't touch the "Online " software..

The CD/Download page looks similar.....but it's here (get the download):

No, TurboTax is not exclusively online. There are still options to purchase and download the software.

cd download version is available, and preferable to the Online version.

go to turbota.intuit.com and pull down Products and Pricing
