Form 8936 will be available in this week's release of TurboTax. The forms availability article will be updated when the release is made.

It is 21 February 2020 and the IRS Form 8936 continues to cause my return to be rejected. Online help is useless (says that it will be available on 20 February) and telephone support is telling me that it will be available yesterday. No, today. No, just keep waiting. This is ridiculous.

TurboTax has released an update to Form 8936. Follow these steps to insure that TurboTax is using the updated Form 8936.

Clear your browser's cookies and cache
Delete Form 8936
Enter your vehicle information on Form 8936
