      <description>&lt;P&gt;This issue tends to come up with New York residents. The
document number is an 8 or 10 digit alphanumeric number found either on the
back of the license or lower right hand corner. &amp;nbsp; It is not the same as

      <description>I had the same exact issue but realized that the NYC id I had doesn't have the document number or an issue date; it wouldn't allow me to move on without placing something in those boxes. I bypassed this problem by clicking the 3rd option, "I don't have an id available" (paraphrased here) and it then allowed me to sign a disclosure form telling NY authorities that I authorize TurbTax to e-file my return and then it went through.</description>
