When you choose to have TurboTax fees deducted from your refund there is an additional charge for that service, which is charged by the bank that handles the transaction.

You really don't need to swear, this is mostly a user to user forum. We are just other users, not TurboTax. There has always been a charge for having your TurboTax fees deducted from your refund. It is charged by the bank that handles the transaction.

You can pay by credit card or direct debit & then you won't have that additional charge.
