You e-sign your tax returns in TurboTax as part of the e-filing process. When you e-file there is no need for your tax return to be "signed"

I downloaded my e_ file and there is nothing in the signature box. What does that mean? Does it mean i did not sign?

If you efiled there will be an electronic filing page in your Documents. It doesn't put your name on the signature line. If you need to give someone a copy you need to sign it in ink yourself.

In the PDF of your TurboTax return, the last page of the federal return is an "electronic postmark" that shows your name, Social Security number, the date and time that you e-filed the return, and the date that the IRS accepted it.
