Every time I log in my password is incorrect?

I have it written down & am entering it correctly. It is requiring that I change my password with every login

Followed the instructions. Opened profile and confirmed user ID. In the same spot it had password, so I entered the same password I had just previously changed...logged out...logged back in and still did not recognize password.

I just saw the tag associated with my post...different than what my account has as user ID...tried it with the new password...it didn't work either...the user ID associated with this post is from way back in 2007...I have changed it to reflect my name change since then.
