Check the name as printed exactly on Social, the DOB and SS Number then try e-filing again.

There are many possible reasons why your return is rejected when you entered a new dependent. Please try the following suggestions to help you resolve this:

As Scorpion1 stated in the above message, verify that you have entered the dependent's social security number and name exactly as it is shown on the social security card.
Delete the dependent's social security number and re-enter it (even if it appears correct.) There may be a space or another character entered that is causing your return to be rejected.
Verify that you have entered the correct birth date. Was the dependent born in 2020? If so you would not be able to claim him/her in 2019.
Is it possible someone else claimed the dependent already?
Log out of TurboTax and clear your temporary internet files. Please click on this TurboTax article for instructions.
Try using a different web browser to log into TurboTax

If your return is still rejected, you may have to print and mail your tax return.
