If I live in a city 1,000 miles away from my parents and my Mom died in March 2019. My family and I made the trip for the burial that cost us approximately $1,500 plus I contributed to the purchase of my parent's headstone at $600. Do I get reimbursement for any of the above expenses? Does IRS allow for this?
