First, you must file your return. During filing and before submitting the return, TurboTax will show you any refund amount for Federal and State. If you have already filed and would like to verify this information, please see below.

To verify your refund amount:

If you filed a Form 1040, the Refund Amount is shown on Line 20a.

If you filed a Form 1040NR, the Refund Amount is shown on Line 73a.

If you filed a Form 1040NR-EZ, the Refund Amount is shown on Line 23a.

If you filed a Form 1040PR, the Refund Amount is shown on Line 13a.

If you filed a Form 1040SS, the Refund Amount is shown on Line 13a.

No one else can see your screen, your tax return or your account. But YOU can see it.

What does it say on the "refund monitor" on the screen?

Look at your Form 1040. What do you see on line 20? Line 23?

Line 20 is a refund

Line 23 is tax due that you have to pay to the IRS

What does the TurboTax summary show you? What does it say in Tax Home?
