In doing my taxes with turbotax, my form1095-A form is not being asked for, even though I have used it for the last several years. I am not going to finish my taxes until I can add this to my return, as I have done in the past. I will not sign my return until this information can be added. Where and how do I add this needed info.

Hello! I'm trying to complete my taxes, and my father, the policy holder of my insurance has received a 1095-A. Am I supposed to receive my own 1095-A, or will I not because he is the policy holder? I am wondering if I am supposed to fill out this information on my tax return, from his form, as I pay my portion monthly. Thank you!

If you are listed on his 1095-A, you will not get your own form. If you are a dependent, see this LINK from Daniel for how to proceed.

If you are not a dependent, you can indicate that you shared the policy and prorate. You can decide the proration amounts between you but the pro-rations must add up to 100%. You can also click on the blue link. What percentage of the following policy amounts do you want to claim on your tax return? See "How do I figure out these percentages?" when you get to that screen.

Child/Children on another tax return

If you share a policy with someone who is claimed on another tax return (usually a child), you can take the number of people on your tax return who are covered on that plan and divide it by the total number of people on the plan. This would be your percentage of premiums, SLCSP and advanced payment of the premium tax credit, unless you agreed on a different number beforehand.
