That is correct, Form 8606 is not approved for e-file yet.

Currently, the IRS estimates Form 8606 to be available on February 14, 2020. TurboTax works to make the form available within 24 hours of IRS approval.

The link you just provided does not list form 8606. When is Turbo Tax going to make this available? The IRS has finalized the form.

The form is listed as available on your link but when I try to access it and finish filing in turbotax it says it is not yet available. I know others using turbotax who already have access to it. Why is mine delayed?

Try logging off of TurboTax, then logging back in and installing all updates.

The forms are available for filing. You may need an update to get the software up to date.

Forms release dates

I recommend calling us to request a soft push of the software for the federal and state.

Let the agent know you have been trying to update your software but the update is not loading. They will be able to assist you.
