What state are you filing? Perhaps some of the forms have not yet been finalized. For current information on forms availability please click on this link: State forms availability

When the forms are available, TurboTax Online automatically updates the website.

In TurboTax CD/Download, you will be prompted to download updates when you open the program. You can also update the program while you have it open by following these steps:

Click the Online link in the black bar at the top of the page.
Click Check for Updates.
TurboTax will download and install any updates available. If there aren't any updates, you will receive the message "Your software is up to date."

My Federal went through after I unchecked state. My Michigan return does not transmit - needs update? I came back to state and updated on-line a dozen times over two days to no avail on 2/21 & 22/2020. I have never had that problem in 15 years of using Turbo Tax. I am a retired 40 IRS Agent Appeals Officer and adjunct professor in taxation - I know what I am doing with my simple tax returns.
I can't find a 800 number or support email address to send a message to TT? Turbo Tax has declined very badly this year! Time to get Tax Cuts from H&R unfortunately. I reported Intuit to the Michigan Attorney General’s Office for fraud – took my $25 and no response via customer service.
