Of course you can ... if you use the ONLINE version you will need the Self Employed version but if you use the CD or Downloaded version you can use any of them.

Yes, it will ask the information on your W2 then at another point it will ask if you have an 1099's. I had one W2 and several 1099's - you can enter as many as you have.

I have not received a W-2 Form. Can I use 1099-R form in place of the W-2?

No, you can not use Form 1099-R in place of a W-2. Form W-2 is used to report wages and income from working. Form 1099-R is used to report retirement income. These are two different types of income that have to be reported using the correct form.

The easiest way to get to the 1099-R entry screen is to simply search for 1099-R (upper- or lower-case, with or without the dash) in your TurboTax program and then click the "Jump to" link in the search results.

Enter a 1099R under

Federal Taxes on the left side

Wages & Income at the top

Then scroll way down to Retirement Plans and Social Security,

Then IRA, 401(k), Pension Plans (1099R) - click Start or Revisit

If you are filing a Joint return be sure to pick which person it is for.
