The IRS has discontinued the e-filing PIN option. To verify your identity for e-filing, you’ll need to use last year’s adjusted gross income (AGI).

The e-filing PIN isn’t the same thing as the Self Select PIN or the IP PIN.

well, turbo tax is requesting that i put a number in for 5 digit e file pin, as well as last years AGI, it has been refused twice by the IRS. IRS has no information that I could find on their webpage, and neither does turbotax
