Your daughter's income falls below the filing requirements, she is not required to file a return .

But even if her income falls below these filing requirements, she'll want to file her own tax return to get a refund if she had federal or state taxes withheld from her paychecks.

My 17y/o has two W2 forms totaling about $7,500. Does she need to file taxes even if she’s in high school?

I wanted to do an edible but for some reason I chose the wrong option and I was found ineligible because my AGI was too high. I could not change the option to pay for e file and I could only print and mail my federal and I can’t seem to continue my state. Is there a way I can pay for w file if I have not mailed out my 2019 form?

Yes, if you didn't mail in the return you can still change your filing method.

Log in to your return.

Select Add a state ( you won't be adding a state; just to open the return ).

Select File from the left Menu.

Continue to step 3 and select " I want to E-file".
