In order to reach the W-2 worksheet page in TurboTax

Once you are in your return, click on Federal on the left hand side of the screen
Then click on Wages & Income at the top of your screen
Click on Start next to Job W-2

If when you open your return you are on the summary page, click on Wages & Income under your Personal Infor.

My Federal Taxes were e-filed ok.

I paid to send my state taxes but when I went to send I got an error that said the state files needed to checl one more thing. This was after TT said state and fed had no errors.

Message was:

Fed Form W-2 worksheet Box 16. This doesn't match Line 12 State Wages (which is California). (This is 0)

I don't have any W2's in my Federal taxes so I can't change anything in my Fed taxes to 0 dollars.

So I can't efile but I can print out the state taxes and file them today. I would like to efile though.

What am I missing?

I went back and added a w2 with zero on the boxes and the state and fed lines match.

But I still have the same error and can't efile the state (ca) return.
