EIN Number

After I filed my taxes I received an alert that they were rejected due to the EIN. I keep trying to fix it following the instructions but can not get in to change the number. Please let me know how I can solve this issue to stop the rejections.

If you have the wrong EIN on your tax return, and have already e-filed your return, you won't be able to change this information. You would need to wait until your return is either Rejected, and fix the rejection and the EIN or if your return is Accepted, you would want to amend your return and fix the EIN.

When you entered the EIN did you enter the "-"? You only enter the numbers for the EIN not the "-".

We need more information. An EIN is an employer identification number. The number you have in a previous post looks like you have a letter in there. This should be all numbers.
