Missing 1099misc

I have all my W2s ready and I want to file my taxes with Turbotax. Only problem is im missing a 1099misc form worth about 1000 in income. I have contacted the company multiple times and got the same generic answer. Im wondering can i file without it and stilm report the income? Do I need to hire a tax person to do it? If I know how much the i come was do I need to wait till mid feb to contact the irs?

If you have difficulty obtaining the 1099-MISC but know exactly the amount to be reported, you can go ahead and file your tax return.

You can file the amount of your self-employed income as Other self-employed income.
