My kid received two (2) W2 forms for his lifeguarding last year:

First one is for $720 w/Fed, Medicare and SocSec withheld, no state tax was paid

The second one is for $120 w/Fed, State, Medicare and SocSec withheld

I am not able to include him on my return, so I assume he needs to file for himself, correct?

Any help from someone who is proficient in taxes is appreciated (this is the first year we have to do this, and I/we do not want to have the federales bunnies hopping all over the place)

You can claim him as a dependent on your return.

You do not include his earned income on your return. It would only go on his return if he is required to file one or to get back any withholding taken out. If he does file a return he will need to start his own Turbo Tax account and user name. He could probably use the Free Edition or the Tax Freedom website. How to start another online return, https://ttlc.intuit.com/community/using-turbotax/help/how-do-i-start-another-return-in-turbotax-online/00/25596

He will have to check the box that says he can be claimed as a dependent on someone else's return.

See Turbo Tax article on Filing Requirements for Children
https://turbotax.intuit.com/tax-tips/family/tax-filing-requirements-for-children/L8ice6z0K
