1) Open your tax return.

2) Go to the left side of the screen and click on Tax Tools, then Tools

3) From the pop-up Tools Center menu, select Delete a form

4) Scroll to find the Form 3514 and Delete it.

5) Scroll to the bottom of the list and hit the button to Continue My Return

That should do it.

I am having problems deleting the 3514 form, it is popping back up as my income is less than 30K. I don't want to claim ETC as I am not a citizen or green card holder. Please help to delete the form. I have Turbo Tax Premier on Mac.

If you are using the desktop version of MAC, to delete, here are the steps:

Open up your tax return if you have not already done so.
Switch to Forms mode
In the left pane, scroll down and select Form 3514
From the top, select Forms drop-down menu, select Remove [form name].
Follow any on-screen instructions to remove the form.

If you are using TurboTax online,

Sign in to your account, select Pick up where you left off
To your left, Select Tax Tools/drop-down menu
Select Tools
Under Other helpful links, choose to Delete a form
Select Delete next to Form 3514 and Continue with My Return to proceed

Hi,

I'm able to delete the form 3514 for California using 'Form' icon on top from Turbotax Premier on Mac. However, when I go to 'File' tab to E-file Federal, form 3514 was automatically added back and I can't remove it. I think it is possible bug. Can you please help?

To reproduce the issue

Income level is less than $10,000

1. Remove form 3514 from State tax

- This remove EIC credit from state tax return

2. Go to File tab to e-file federal

3. It will calculate the return and add form 3514 in State Tax again.
