The address on what you send in your return should match the one on your W-2 even if it is different from your current address. The IRS will match what it received from your employer with what is on your return.

What if I am no longer at that address. I have 3 W2’s and 2 are from another state then where I’m currently living now. I was told to enter my current address not the address that’s on my W2’s. Is this true?

That is correct. On your tax return you should enter your current address (it is okay that the address on your W-2's will be different). You should always provide the most accurate and complete data on your tax return.
