Rejected code REJ001 indicates that your state has rejected your state return because your Federal return has not been accepted yet.

You will need to go into TurboTax and re-file your state return after your Federal return has been accepted.

REJ001 indicates that your state has rejected your state return because your Federal return has not been accepted yet.

If you received an ACTION NEEDED! email from turbotax@intuit.com, it'll give you a brief explanation of your reject and how to update it. You can also do this:

Sign in to your TurboTax account and select Fix my return to see your reject code and explanation.
Follow any “fix it” instructions to update the info causing the reject.
Select File in the left-hand menu to refile your return, either e-file or file by mail.

I filed many years with turbo tax but my 2020 Agi figure is telling me its not correct when i try to enter in my 2020. Can you please give me an answer to my problem

ENTER 0 FOR AGI. The IRS took a long time last year to process 2020 returns so the AGI didn't get entered in time.

If you can’t get it to efile you will have to print and mail it.

Be sure to attach copies of your W2s and any 1099s that have withholding on them. You have to mail federal and state in separate envelopes because they go to different places. Get a tracking number from the post office when you mail them for proof of filing.

I received a reject on the fed. return for the wife's AGI being wrong. We file jointly so why did they say the wife's agi was wrong rather both of our agi was wrong which it is correct as entered.
