      <description>&lt;P&gt;Were you and your girlfriend actually married for the last 4 years?&amp;nbsp; The filing status that you choose has to be accurate.&amp;nbsp; In other words, &lt;STRONG&gt;if you weren't legally married&lt;/STRONG&gt;, you should not have been filing as such.&amp;nbsp; &lt;STRONG&gt;AND you'll need to amend those tax returns to reflect that you were single if you were.&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;So if I'm understanding correctly, you aren't actually married.&amp;nbsp; If that's the case, please do file as SINGLE for 2019.&amp;nbsp; If, on the other hand, you WERE married and are not yet divorced, you have other options.&amp;nbsp; Please clarify your situation if that is the case.&lt;/P&gt;
