the number i was given was for my son daycare and its 10 digits long instead of 9. is that supposed to be 10 digits or 9

An EIN is 9 digits like xx-xxxxxxx

How can I change my EIN numbers on tax form on turbo tax ? I put State ID no but it want let me go back in and change it It only ask me if its correct

Go back to the data entry for the tax form that carries the EIN and edit the form.

As an example, for a W-2, go here:

Down the far left side, click Federal.
Across the top, click Wages & Income.
Under Your Income, click Edit/Add to the right of W-2's.
To the right of the individual W-2, Click Edit.
Now you can review or correct the data that you entered.
