Has your efiled Federal return been accepted yet? For most people the IRS hasn't started processing Federal returns until January 27, except for a few people whose returns were pulled early.

If the IRS has pulled your Federal return early, was it accepted or rejected?

If the Federal return rejects, the efiled state return will also reject. When a return is rejected, you should receive an error code and message.

Or instead of "rejection", are you saying that you are unable to efile the state return? You may need to explain more about your experience.

I 'm confused I don't pay or get a refund and there is no rejection code

I filed and it said $0 refund

Has your Federal tax returns been filed? Has it been accepted? Rejected? Has your state tax return been rejected? Or are you unable to efile your state return for some reason?

if fed accepted but the state rejected, then could you please post exactly what the rejection notice said.
