If you haven't filed your income tax return, to edit or change your Employer Identification Number (EIN) in TurboTax:

Open or continue your return in TurboTax.
Using the search feature in the upper right corner, search for W-2 and select the Jump to link in the search results.
On the Let's get your W-2 info screen, select Work on my W-2 now.
Enter the 9-digit Employer ID Number from your W-2 and select Continue.

If you have already filed your income tax return and the Employer Identification Number (EIN) is wrong, your tax return may be rejected and you'll be able to edit it.

How to Edit a W-2 in TurboTax:

Open or continue your return.
Select the search icon at the top of the page and search for W-2 and select the Jump to link.
Select Work on my W-2 now and Continue.
If you've already entered a W-2 select the pencil icon or Edit next to the one you need to update.
