How do i import my 2015 turbo tax return from online

i have it saved on my computer in pdf format (macbook) but it will not pull the info to 2016 return

Sure you can save your 2015 Tax Return as a .TAX file on your computer.

Log into your TurboTax Online account and select your 2015 Tax Return from your Timeline
Upon entering your Welcome page go to the Upper-Right Hand corner of the screen and click on My Account and from the dropdown menu select and click on Tools.
After clicking on tools a separate screen will appear from this screen you will be able to select Save your 2015 Return to your Computer
Once you click on this option you will select Save As so that you may pick where to save this file to your computer.
